Biological perspective Reflection

Based on what we have seen in class and in the videos, reflect on your opinion of the biological perspective in Psychology. Your reflection should give a critical analysis of some of the major ideas from this field. 350 words

The biologocal perspective in Psychology believes in the idea that human genes evolve over millions of years to adoapt behavior to the environment that surrounds them. Adaptive and evolutionary are key words for the understanding of thins perspective.

Methods used for experimenting and understanding this approach are:

comparative method:Comparison between animals and humans supports the research of the human mind.

mirror neurons: These are neurons that fire when another person or animal preforms an action or when someone observes someone else preform an action.

inheritance: What humans or animals inherit from their parents.

This approach uses determinism because of supporting their studies with DNA, evolution and hormones. Humans are seen as through an extremly scientific view as highly evolved, intelligent beings tgat overcome obstacles.
